12 movie loving humanists gathered on June 7, 2026 to enjoy the 30th anniversary screening of The Birdcage, then shared a meal at Santi’s. Such a funny movie. Tragically, 30 years later and not enough has changed, with open right-wing political hostility towards queer people. The story would fit in as well in Florida in 2026 as it did in 1996. And we miss Robin Williams!
