The Secular Humanists of the Lowcountry (SHL) work to connect our members with the broader secular movement by fostering partnerships with leading national humanist and secular organizations at the forefront of promoting secular values, protecting church-state separation, and advocating for civil liberties. In addition, we maintain ties to a wider network of non-profit organizations that share our commitment to human rights, environmental protection, social justice, rational inquiry, and social progress, working together with like-minded groups whenever our objectives align. Through these affiliations and associations, we strive to empower our members, strengthen our community, and advance the shared ideals of human dignity and evidence-based policy at every level.
