Cold rain couldn’t stop our committed secular activists! On Sunday, October 12, 2025, members of SHL braved the dreary weather to stand in front of Charleston City Hall in defense of First Amendment freedoms—protecting the separation of church and state, free speech, and the right to assemble. Even with umbrellas and soaked signs, our spirits stayed strong. We’re proud to be part of a community that shows up, rain or shine, to make our voices heard and stand for humanist values.
