Come see the film Between the Temples with your humanist friends! From writer/director Nathan Silver and staring Jason Schwartzman and Carol Kane, this comedy tells the story of a cantor in a crisis of faith who finds his world turned upside down when his grade school music teacher re-enters his life as his new adult Bat Mitzvah student.

We are going to the Terrace Theater. Seats are not assigned, but the last two films we saw there sold out, so it might be worth buying tickets in advance and arriving early. You can buy tickets online using the link below.

After the movie those who wish will go to Maybank Public House for drinks, food and to discuss the film. The pub is right next to the theater at 1970 Maybank Highway on James Island. If you have already seen the film and don’t want to attend the showing, feel free to join us to discuss the film afterwards. We should get there around 4:30 depending on the number of commercials and previews. If you want to reach out to me (Tucker) ahead of time, I’d be happy to text you when we leave the theater.

Additional info:
Tickets bought online are $11. I think it is only $9 if you buy them at the theater.
The movie is 1:51 long plus or minus commercials and previews.
