Nineteen humanists and friends—15 adults and four kids—gathered at Hoodie Cat Game Lounge on August 22, 2026 for an afternoon of board games, card games, and good company.
Tables filled up quickly as players tackled everything from cooperative games to friendly competition, with plenty of conversation and laughter along the way. The result was exactly what Game Day was meant to be: a relaxed afternoon where people of all ages could play, socialize, and connect.
We were also glad to welcome friends from PFLAG Charleston, who organized the event and partnered with SHL to bring it about. Thanks to PFLAG, Hoodie Cat, and everyone who came out and helped make the afternoon such a success!
