Building Community Beyond Belief, Exercising Progressive Values, and Defending Separation of Church and State

Eleven concerned citizens gathered on Sunday, May 10, 2026 for our monthly Silence Is Not an Option (SINO) protest in front of Charleston City Hall. These dedicated demonstrators reflect our ongoing commitment to speak out against the erosion of democratic norms and institutions in the United States. Month after month, we continue to show up, make our presence visible, and refuse to normalize attacks on democracy, pluralism, and civil liberties.

SINO protests take place on the second Sunday of every month at 2 pm. Everyone who shares these concerns is welcome to join us in front of Charleston City Hall.
