We are also celebrating Pride this weekend, reveling in the truth that we humans are diverse, beautiful, and can live joyously as our authentic selves. Come by our table at the Park Circle Pride Block Party today between 2 and 8 pm and grab your “Gay Away the Pray” buttons (while supplies last). We will also be tabling at the Feminist Magic Market tomorrow starting at 11 am.
SHL had a table at three events during Park Circle Pride. We were there for the kickoff party on Tuesday, June 3, 2025. We partied at the Block Party and Day Rave on Saturday, June 7th. Finally we promoted humanism at the Feminist Magic Market on Sunday, June 8th–until a crazy storm nearly blew us away.
SHL participates in events like this to show our support for the LGBTQIA+ community in the Charleston area and to represent Humanism in the Lowcountry. Our table staff spread smiles, give away Good without God swag, and answer questions about SHL and Humanism.
Staff had a really fun time, and our “Gay the Pray Away” buttons were a massive hit.
