On Sunday, April 13th we gathered to write postcards to our state senators to ask them to oppose the bill that would end Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion programs in SC, and to Senators Lindsey Graham and Tim Scott to ask them to oppose the SAVE Act which could disenfranchise millions of Americans, making it more difficult to register to vote, based on the lie that our elections are not already secure. We also asked our congress people to support the Do No Harm Act which would protect the freedom of religion for ALL Americans.
Then we made signs for upcoming rallies and protests.
Join us on the 2nd Sunday of the month for Activist Sundays where we work together to save American democracy, stand up for progressive values, and defend the separation of church and state. In addition to the warm inner glow of fighting for what is right, it is really fun to get together with your people do something productive!
