SHL E-mail Announcements Sign-up Form

Beginning in September 2015, SHL will be using Mailchimp to deliver our e-mail announcements. This should improve both the design of the announcements and their deliverability. If you need to sign up for our mailing list or want to change your preferences, use the form below. You will be sent a message at the address you enter which will be used for confirmation.

Everyone who signs up will receive our monthly newsletter and reminders of our monthly meetings. If you would like more information about other activities of special interest to you, sign up for some of our special topics lists by checking the corresponding boxes below:

    • The Book Group meets at Barnes and Noble for an exciting, friendly and informative discussion of a book of interest, followed by dinner at a nearby restaurant. To receive e-mail notifications about the book group, check this box.

    • Sign up for this list to be notified of events specifically designed for "little ones": playdates at parks, educational outings, cookie parties and more.
    • Gather with like-minded individuals for conversation and "liquid refreshment".

    • This club allows you to see a movie with SHL members and continue discussing it over dinner at a nearby restaurant. However, because the movie time is not selected until a few days in advance, if you are interested in attending it is best to be subscribed to this special topics list.

    • Herb founded both the Secular Humanists of the Lowcountry and the Secular Coalition for America. He ran for governor and wrote a book about it. And, he still writes many articles on the subject of secularism. Sign up for this list to receive e-mail notification when a new article by Herb is posted online.

    • About once a month, SHL volunteers help out at a local charity. Please join us as we both make the world a better place and demonstrate our morality.
