This Saturday is the second of four programs in this Natural History of the Lowcountry series, a themed set of programs that has been put together by the Charleston County Parks and Recreation for SHL's youth. In this program, kids will investigate and learn all about birds through a combination of activities with bird parts and artifacts, migration map study, and field observation.
What: Bird Study
Where: Cawcaw Interpretive Center
When: Saturday, 11/9; 1-2:30pm for preK/elementary*, 3-4:30pm for middle/high
Space is limited, RSVPs are required: firstname.lastname@example.org
Please note that, due to space limitations, this program is for the children only, though children 5 years old and younger do need an accompanying parent. Parents do not need to pay admission and are welcome to enjoy the park while their child(ren) attend the program.
*If your child is at the upper end of the elementary age and you feel s/he would get more out of the older program, let me know and we can move your child if space allows.
