Camp Quest South Carolina forming

I am working on starting up a South Carolina chapter for Camp Quest. For those unfamiliar, Camp Quest is a week-long summer residential camp for kids ages 8-17yo from non-religious families. For more information, you can check it out at Anyway, we are in the very beginning stages of the SC camp right now and the first week-long session won't be until the summer of 2012. We will have a one-day or possible overnight weekend mini Camp Quest next summer, 2011. The mini CQ would be open to the whole family and children of all ages. The camp facility has not yet been chosen, but the two favorites are Camp Sewee 20 miles outside Charleston and Camp Long in Aiken. A Facebook page has just been created under the name Camp Quest South Carolina, if you'd like to check it out for updates. If you are interested in sending a camper or in volunteering in any capacity and would like to join our mailing list, please email me at SecularCharlestonMom(at)gmail(dot)com. I am also looking to set up a Board, so if you are interested in serving on that, please let me know.
