NC high school teacher crosses the line

A teacher at a North Carolina public school was teaching a "Bible in History" class. That, already, seems suspiciously like an endorsement of certain religions over others by the school. But, not satisfied with that, the teacher also invited an Egyptian Christian evangelist to the class to talk about the threat of Islam. Some students claim he went so far as to tell the female students not to marry Islamic men. This is CLEARLY over the line...but the students and school officials are defending him and trying to re-hire him!

Re: NC high school teacher crosses the line

i was trying to get a class this year of history of the bible.... TIME had an excellent story that had an atheist taking the bible class at school: http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,1601845,00.html
